I'm about to start trading stocks on the stock market. I believe Just2Trade.com offers trades for only $2.50. Thing is I will be transfering about £10,000 of my hard earned money to them so I can start trading. What if they went bust? Would I loose all my investment? Am I protected or should I use a more reputable stock broker i.e a well known bank that charges more?..

I would like to purchase some stocks, but don't really know the best way to go about it. Has anyone had any good reliable experience with on-line buying or should I find a real life person to talk to about this? Don't really want to spend a lot on fees. I am not a big investor, just some companies catch my eye and would like to buy a few shares in certain companies?? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have been purchasing series EE bonds for about 2 years now, one $100.00 bond every month. I have 23 bonds. Should I start alternating with I Bonds? I know the EE Bonds stop losing interest at 30 years. Does that mean that the value only goes to $100.00? Or does it go above that? I need to know if these are good investments.
