Excluding commission, exchange fees, etc, how much would this trade be. I am looking at an option on ESZ6 (mini-S&P dec future). The list price for the option is 35. When I looked it up, it stated that one option contract covers on future contract. Would I be paying $35 for this option contract, or is the a mulitplier like stock options?

Specifically, I'm looking for mutual funds that are geared towards sports. I heard somewhere that there was a fund which revolved around stock car racing - I am looking for any others. Many thanks to all who respond.

The best investors like Buffett, Dreman, Lynch and the best and consistent fund managers never believed in options trading. Not even Covered Calls. Why is such a hoopla about options then?

In the long-term, can it beat Buy-and-Hold investing? Do you know of any successful options investors?

Yahoo had the best financial format online. Now complicated, slow, and screwed up. After screwing up bulletin boards, now this.Poeple that want information want it simple and fast. Too complex and too slow. Return to old format. The new financial programmers are ruining the best and making terrible mistakes.
Technical analysis needs to be one-shot, fast, and simple. This new format is nowhere as easy to use as old. I don't want to spend all morning switching screens to half a dozen when the old format had it all on one screen

I know there are a million online calculators for this stuff but I'd like real-person opinions.

If you are retired - what age did you retire at, how much annual income did you allocate, and what level of "luxury" or lack there of has it given you? Just curious how my retirement plan compares to reality....

I'm starting to get really bad at figuring out stocks. Sometimes, it goes up or down regardless of the news about the company. Today, it's up more than 10% which is good for me, but I'd like to know exactly what evenement caused this.
