Close but no cigar. The suffixes are created and used by Yahoo Finance, not on the stock exchanges or brokerages. It is a way that Yahoo's computer can make sure which stock you're looking for when the ticker is one used on different exchanges.

.OB should be a suffix for Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB).

.PK is specific as it means Pink Sheet. But, OB is basically OTCBB shortened.

Basically every exchange has a suffix except for the Nasdaq (NAS), New York Stock Exchange (NYS, NYSE), the American Stock Exchange (ASE, AMEX). This includes all foreign exchanges (i.e. XXXX.TO = Toronto Stock Exchange). Aa a side note, NASD is a seperate entity from the NASDAQ. I believe the official date of separation was in 2002.

You will have to wait between 3 and 10 days to get into the system in most cases. When I signed up it took 8 days. I wished it was faster, but if you can wait a week or two to start earn life changing money than you will have what it takes to make it in this business.
