I went to see two different gynecologists in same county but different cities within 1 month for EXACT SAME check-up/test(1st trimester pregnancy). Instead of charging the insurance the same or similar amount, one doctor charged $680 while the other doctor charged $130. Is one doctor defrauding the insurance or is this normal variance between different doctors? I live in Los angeles county

I was recently in an auto accident, both the other driver and i have Gieco, but the company keeps telling me they have a "coverage issue" and will not just tell me if the other driver's policy was in force during the accedent untill they recieve the police report. My clains adjuster said he already contacted a witness stating no way the accident was my fault. I understand waiting for the police report, but why not just tell me if he is insured or not, to ease my worries? Regardless of who was at fault i think Gieco could say yes he has coverage, or no he dont.

I am trying to file a dog bite claim against my neighbors insurance, but I do not think he is responding truthfully about his insurance policy. He denies having insurance that has personal liability. He sent a copy of his mortgage protection coverage to our lawyer and claims that is the only coverage he has. He still has a mortgage, so he must have homeowners. How can we force it out of him? He has not provided proof of insurance or lack of from the time of the injury. If he truly does not have insurance, we are going to have to sue him because the medical bills are already into the tens of thousands. Please help.

I bought a new Dodge around April 7 and obtained full coverage insurance. I was in an accident on April 22 and filed a claim with the insurance co. The claim was filed on the 25th and they gave the authorization to make repairs to the shop on the 3rd of May. I just got a letter today from the insurance co., saying that my policy was rescinded (which means it was voided from the start date) and the reason behind it said, The car was returned to the dealer, Unable to obtain financing. This is totally false since they know I filed a claim a week earlier and the car is in the shop not the dealer. I also have my statement from the finance co., proving it was financed to me. Will my current claim be canceled because of this ? I called the body shop to see if the insurance co. called them to stop repairs and they said no. They are still fixing it. Can a rescission be reversed if I provide documents proving the car is mine and financed ? The car is mine and financed. Thanks for your help.

I have my own medical insurance through my employer, plus I am also covered under my husband's medical insurance through his employer. Does it help to be covered under 2 such insurances ? Or does it hurt ? When I went in for a dental treatment I was told by my husband's insurance company that they were my secondary, and they had a non-duplication policy that allowed them to pay only equal or lesser than what the primary insurance company wud pay. Thus I ended up with a 500$ bill which I have to pay from my pocket now. So I am wondering if having 2 such insurances truly helps ?! Pls help with any information or experience that any of you might have had on similar accounts. Thanks in advance !

I lost my phone but the insurance I pay £8 per month for only covers theft. Should I just say it was stolen and do I therefore have to lie to the police? Has anyone else been in a similar situation and able to advise?

I am 19 years old and in college, my dentist is threatening to turn my account over to collections after sending me a bill over a year ago. When I asked about getting crowns he told me that my insurance would cover the all of the bills, and never gave me an estimate. After he realized that insurance would only cover 75% he sent me a bill for 800 bucks.

Also he billed the insurance companies over two years, saying the work was done in 2 separate years, when in reality it was done all in one year. Is that insurance fraud?

Should I just pay the bill or fight this guy?

I am so confused! I know that the HO3 is not as comprehensive as the HO7 policy, but I'm not sure if the HO7 is worth the extra money...

There is a $70/year difference.

Should we spend the extra money and get the HO7? Is there another kind of policy that we should ask about?

Ever since I switched to Geico, I have verified with them that my car insurance policy extends to rental cars whenever I rent them out. Which is great, because it saves me money by waiving all the extra rental companies insurance surcharges per day. However, a recent alamo agent informed me even though i maybe saving money and my primary carrier extends to the rental car sometimes geico may not cover everything. Such as "time of replacement." The time lost to the rental car company when geico works out the replacement of a total loss rental car. This maybe a hoax for me to buy alamo insurance, but I wanted to know from those experienced should I worry? Does primary insurances really extend to rental cars and do they cover everything i may encounter if I was in an accident? Would my credit card rental car accident insurance cover what my primary wouldnt cover? Curious...thanks

I'm trying to apply for state insurance at the moment, but lots of people I talk to are telling me that since the Insurance Company covered me before they can't cancel while I'm still pregnant. (I'm due in 7 weeks) or is that what the consider the Cobra plan. Which they want us to pay $1300 a month for Cobra. I'm confused, should they still cover me w/out Cobra or not. Anyone with knowledge in this area, I'd appreciate any input.
