I have found in just the one month that I have been insured by Aetna, that Aetna is not good insurance. I hate it. I had to switch because of my husband's employer changed from Blue Cross. Do you hate Aetna too???

No idea what problems you've had with Aetna, but we highly recommend it. We have NEVER had any problems with it!! Maybe it's just the plan you guys had that was not good.

I think it's all in what you get used to and your needs. When I was with Aetna, I couldn't pick any doctor I wanted, but I got used to starting with the primary care. Under Aetna, my allergy pills cost me $30. Under Blue Cross, they now cost me $80. (They pay a whole $7 of it).

So I, personally, liked Aetna better.

Aetna was the best plan I've ever had! I paid the least copay for my prescriptions, I didn't need a referral, and if I needed to, I could use it anywhere in the country. They also pay providers among the best of all the plans.

Sorry, but I've had a great experience with them. They pay my claims quickly and the customer service people cheerfully put up with my endless questions whenever I call.

What did they do that upset you so badly?
