My grandpa died from cancer. He believed he was leaving our family with enough money from the life insurance policy to be able to pay off our home. We were suprised to find out he has Accidental Life Insurance when we tried to make the death claim, and that we would receive nothing. We believe he was tricked into purchasing this less expensive policy. Is there anything we can do?

I received and cashed a legal check made out to me from my health insurance company..only to realize after the fact that the check was actually for a medical claim so it probably should have be sent directly to my doctor instead. Since the error is technically my health insurance's fault, will I still be forced to pay them back the $106?

Legally, I am probably liable & bound to notify & return it, right?! Can someone give me my OTHER options??
