I was in this accident which was the fault of the other driver. My er bill was over $37,000 and now her insurance company is saying that is all they can pay due to some limit. I do not have under insurance coverage with my own insurance to cover everything else. Now I owe $7,000 on my truck which was totaled. I am not getting any money for my lost wages, I have nothing to drive now at all, and I still owe money for the hospital bill itself. I just want to give up.

I am a veteran of the US military, I go to the VA Clinic for my doctor visits/prescriptions. I know while I was serving, my daughter was covered by my health insurance, is she still covered now that I am out of the military?
Where would I look/who could I call to find this information?

I went off my parent's health insurance and have yet to obtain coverage from my employer. I have been uninsured for almost three months. I am generally healthy but have a few health concerns for which I see specialists and am on 5 Rx medications to treat.

My dad keeps on telling me that if there is a lapse in my health insurance coverage, the new company I get coverage with could decide to not cover me for my pre-existing conditions. Is this common? What are the odds of this happening? Thank you for any insight!

They are both suppost to have another heart surgey next summer, How in the hell am I suppost to pay for two surgeries let alone all of the other appts. Anyone have any experience with Aetna? I heard that they cover a lot of HIV expenses for the people with their Aetna Medicare plans. But this person is not in Medicare, but aged in the 20s.

Is it true that Aetna looks to drop HIV+ people, by trying to find any small breach of info possible at the time that the person signed up for the insurance plan?

I went there for a checkup and PAID my 40 dollar co-pay. This check up was done in November of 2006, and the letter from my health insurance company said that they would not cover the cost because the claim was filed/ received of November 2007- more than a year later!

This isn't my responsibility right, I paid my copay and that doctor's office was supposed to do the rest. How do I handle the situation?

My husband just lost his job and with it his benefits. We have a 22 month old daughter and I don't want her to go without any coverage! He just lost it so we haven't even started a moving on plan yet but this is my #1 issue!!

I read a bit about it on the NYS site but I was looking for personal experience. Do you get to choose your own Dr? How much does it over??

Thanks so much for your help!

My husband deployed 9 months ago and I moved 5 hours away from Fort Riley (our duty station) to live with my parents. I went to the doctor for depression and she referred me to see a psychiatrist. He wants me to come regularly to see him and his therapist for the next 2 months and also wrote we a script for a prescription. What will tricare cover of this? Any of it? My husband said I need to call them and tell them I'm far away from a post and had to go to a civilian for coverage and they should cover it. Is this true?? Is there anything I need to do to ensure they pay the dr. bills??? Thanks

I've purchased a guarentee issue life insurance policy for a family member with a chronic illness. The policy is only payable after 2 years. The premium is $61 a month or $645 a year. I'm wondering if I pay 2 years premium now, will the policy be payable. I was too afraid to ask the agent.

Had a car accident and was in the hospital for close to a week. Health insurance covered everything except copays and deductible. The car insurance is waiting to see if my health insurance is going to ask for reimbursement before they pay out anything.
Seeing that I pay my health insurance premiums for situations like this, can they ask for reimbusement?
