The major Gem labs have been working for years to set a system to qualify Cut quality of diamonds and now after some 10 years and millions of dollars they have systems that indicate to the public that a diamond cut, accoring to them, Excellent or "O" which we feel is off the mark. Since the eCS system indicates if a diamond is Cut = 1,000 it is Ideally Cut, the best shape for the best Sparkle, or a variance from it.( less than 1.000)

How do insurance companies know how much to give you if anything happens to your house, such as a fire or a flood? I know they will know how much the house is worth, but how do they know what was in the house and how much to give you for the personal belongings in the house?

i understand that some creditors off insurance for loss of a job, but i was curious if insurance companies would have an offer to cover all bills ie; car payment, house payment, credit card payments for a monthly fee.

You keep seeing these firms on the TV advertinsing their policies and saying that if you apply online for a quote you can get a discount. Well great but aftrer you fill out all the forms it come up with some crappy excuse and give yopu a premium rate number to ring to find out the cost. Why cant they do ask they say and give the quote online.

In the madness of correctness etc how can some insurance companies openly offer better deals for women drivers. I thought the premium was based on the vehicle/value/previous claims etc, not on your sex. Surely ALL women drivers aren't better than ALL men drivers ...... are they?

I was driving down an interesection with a green light. The speed limt on the road is 50MPH (whohhooo Irvine!) A car came in from a cross street (which had a red light) made a sharp right turn on to the road, cut across 2 lanes(without a turn signal) and came in to my lane. I braked and honked my horn but couldnt stop in time and ended up rear ending him. There is minor damage to my car. Is it still my fault? Can I still file a claim with his insurance to get my repairs. Thanks!

I am starting a new job which offers life insurance. For $30 a month I can get a decent policy. However, I have no one to name as beneficiary - my family has plenty of money and there is enough in my bank account to cover funeral costs/legal fees. Do I need life insurance? Should I wait and opt in when I have a family?
