Their website just shows underconstruction 2006 and if / when you try to register a product bought from them or a seller on ebay the registration form doesn't accept 2007 - hence my suspicions that the company was started and then abandoned. The Photographic Products, all made in China, are, I feel, very good

Another business posted a question on yahoo to discredit ours. It now appears in google searches and we have no right of reply. Is this fair, when we pride ourselves on customer service, have 100% feedback on ebay and will go to any lengths to satisfy customers.

Why do many governments see parternships with the private sector as beneficial??

I can only think of...because the private sector companies can run businesses more effectively/efficiently, and because privatization creates competition..so the GDP will rise in that specific category because there will be more companies all trying to out-do each other.

Hello. If I have a really good idea for a business but have poor credit. Are there any institutions at all that will grant me a loan if I take out money under a corporation and not under my own name? I consulted a banker about this and he said that Banks will still look at my credit rating. I thought that a corporation was supposed to be a separate legal entity? What gives?

I've been approached by a representative of this company with a job offer. Their buisiness model is somewhat unconventional (not that I have a problem with unconventional). They use what is called "multi-level marketing". I know enough about this buisiness model to know that some multi-level marketing companies are little more than pyramid schemes. However, I also know that not all multi-level marketing companies are pyramid schemes, and Amway was investigaved for it and cleared of it already by the FTC clear back in 1979. Here, almost 3 decades later, their buisiness is still alive and kicking, which is a good sign.

I know they are a legitamate buisiness, and their buisiness model is legal. But I do want to know if they are a good opportunity or not.

Has anyone out there had experience with them? Was it good or bad? And what exactly did you do for them? Any info, positive or negative, is welcome.

Thanks, and God bless!

All the employees are on salary ... they don't get paid for overtime.

Well, the high achievers often put in an extra 10 hours a week....

My co-worker, who works the bare minimum, actually says to them, "If you were to take your salary and divide it by the number of hours that you work, it would be equivalent to a McDonald's working wage".

Have you ever heard of someone doing this?

Most of my work experience is in events and communications mostly in charitable organisations - I would like to work in Paris in a company that also has offices operating in London as I travel between these two places quite a bit.

Does anyone know of any companies relating either to events management/charity/comms that have bases in both London and Paris? (There seem to be a lot of IT firms but can't find anything relating to my experience!)

I speak french to about A-level standard, but by no means fluently so additionally I wonder if there are any jobs where English is the main (but perhaps not only) language for communication.

Many thanks

Spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a paticular field of study is not real world enough? LOL! How are students supposed to get out of this crazy debt we are in when HR people don't hire us. I find it hilarious that I lost out to a guy who graduated college in 1958, and he didn't know how to fill out a PDF application online. He had no idea what a PDF even was.

There is no difference when college students i am sure know way more than people who are even working in the industry, because these people who are working are not learning new skills. They are just stagnate in one position.
