the person checking out was 17 cents short of having enough money to pay you. what would you do? what should you do?

i would cover their 17 cents and spare them the embarassment of going out to their car to get it and holding up the line.

Why does a 3 lbs package cost $110 using DHL, $86.50 using FedEx, and $84.00 using UPS but only cost $20 using USPS to be sent from the US to Australia? What makes the difference? Thanks

Is it a conflict of interest for corporations to determine what constitutes socially responsible behaviour? What, if any, responsibility do corporations have to areas of social justice?

And what specific effect does the economy have on corporate America?

I would like to learn the relationship between those two.

I don't want to sound too ignorant, but I would like to know the specifics for an essay. Using search engines did nothing except confuse me even more.

Thank you in advance.

Shouldn't the entire company get a bonus? Maybe NOT the same amount but secret bonuses is tasteless. Is this a common business practice?

I used to work with Walmart and saw terrible things going on. Many people working there couldn't afford health insurance, no benifits, pressured into working during break/lunch and I even saw employees working off the clock. Recently the city of Hercules, CA put a stop to Walmart building in thier city. I want to help volunteer my time to stop Walmart. Is there anything I can do. Walmart ruins communities. High crime rate in parking lots, dirty parking lots.

Insurance
Pay,
Work environment
etc.

I used to work for Wal Mart & I thin they've gone down hill a bit sense Sam Walton (founder) died.
But they have improved as far as promotions for women.
In my day, if a man was hired as a cashier, it would be only a month or so till he was promoted to Cashier manager. Very few women were ever given the position. They seem to be fair about that now.

Is Trader Joe's like the Walmart of the natural food world in regards to keeping their prices low by using shady business practices with their suppliers? Like walmart will become the only supplier of a companies product and then will tell that company that if they want to keep their market they will now be selling the item to them at whatever price walmart names.

What must I click to get back to Preview or to Submit after I give 'em the password? I'm mad because I just lost an answer. You gotta admit that's an extremely goofy time to ask for my password. They should ask for it BEFORE I type an answer.

I need the names for each department both on the Grocery side and GM (General Merchandise) side. I know not all Wal-Marts have every department (eg. Tire & Auto center), but if you can list what departments most stores have, that's what I'd like to know.

If you can include a Division/Department number for each, that would be extra helpful. :)
