There 250+ people in this plant. I was 'volunteered' to be part of our company's Social Committee & need ideas on what types of year-round activities there could be for a group this size. Maybe integration with some type of fundraising? Any good ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

I just tried to buy three TVs for the new house at Circuit City. I bought the TVs on Thanksgiving and intended to pick them up instore with a UHAUL last Thursday Nov 30th. On Nov 27th I found the same package at Circuit City selling for 800 dollars less. I called and asked if they could price match for me and they said yes and to just print the page and bring it in store. To make a long story short. I went in the store and Circuit City manager told me he couldn't possibly come down 800 dollars even though I had the information printed out. They did not honor the guarantee and I made them refund what would have been about a 5000 dollar sale. I will never do business with Circuit City again.

If you are looking to buy any electronics around Christmas or for the New Year I would steer clear of them because of this. I ended up buying the rest of the stuff at Best Buy and Boscovs. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

Lord Sainsbury was in the news recently, and the thought occurred to me that if I shop in Sainsbury's, what percentage of my spending would be used to support the Labour party?

Are any of the other Supermarkets affiliated, either directly or indirectly, to a political party? If so which?

I'm having a little trouble finding a concrete answer to this. I am forming a business and believe and LLC is the way to go, but am briefly considering an S-Corporation, however, I am not interested in the company being publicly owned, i.e. I want complete control over the operations. Can I do this with a corporation, or do I instantly become confined to a sole-proprietorship or LLC? Thanks.
