I just tried to buy three TVs for the new house at Circuit City. I bought the TVs on Thanksgiving and intended to pick them up instore with a UHAUL last Thursday Nov 30th. On Nov 27th I found the same package at Circuit City selling for 800 dollars less. I called and asked if they could price match for me and they said yes and to just print the page and bring it in store. To make a long story short. I went in the store and Circuit City manager told me he couldn't possibly come down 800 dollars even though I had the information printed out. They did not honor the guarantee and I made them refund what would have been about a 5000 dollar sale. I will never do business with Circuit City again.

If you are looking to buy any electronics around Christmas or for the New Year I would steer clear of them because of this. I ended up buying the rest of the stuff at Best Buy and Boscovs. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

$800 is probably a different model / features / accessories package, but if all is identical, and some other dealer is using it as a loss leader then it would be unwise for a business to match on a loss leader.
Business reality, you were able to cancel the order and get the loss leader price elsewhere, consider yourself lucky and being a whiny baby even when you ended up getting the super discount price says you might be a skin flint . . (maybe the result of a dysfunctional family that needs 3 TVs ?)
. LOOSEN up and enjoy your bargain.

Why not attempt your nearby expert digital camera keep? The salespeople are knowledgeable and knowledgeable approximately each digital camera they sell. identifying to purchase a digital camera from them factors get entry to to somebody who can answer questions, resolve issues and grant clever advice. some shops even grant an hour or 2 of incredibly coaching including your new digital camera. Ask a technical question at the two of the shops you suggested and you will likely get a clean stare.

Go to Circuit City's corporate website and write them letter to them that you did to us. Maybe you will get some satisfaction from them, maybe even a gift card for your aggravation. I hope you saved all your documentation.
