I used to work with Walmart and saw terrible things going on. Many people working there couldn't afford health insurance, no benifits, pressured into working during break/lunch and I even saw employees working off the clock. Recently the city of Hercules, CA put a stop to Walmart building in thier city. I want to help volunteer my time to stop Walmart. Is there anything I can do. Walmart ruins communities. High crime rate in parking lots, dirty parking lots.

i hate wal mart too man. i used to work there as well. in canada labour laws are different so they had to comply, however, that place is pure hell. even shopping there is a nightmare. the only reason people like it is because its dirt cheap. its so so ugly. i feel as though as humans we've lost all class when we resort to shopping at hell holes like wal mart. and yes, employees are treated like total crap from the bosses and especially the customers. any wal mart shoppers here, BE NICE TO THE CASHIERS!!! they're just doing their job. let me know if you find a way to bring down wal mart. i'll fight with you

I have to agree they are slime but their prices are usually the lowest. Would love to see them clean up their act! Gotta love the new commercial where they compare the CEO earnings to that of a store employee stating it would take a store employee 1000 years to earn the equiv. of the CEO!

I worked for WM for 5 years and can see where you are coming from. Not sure if you can stop them but here is an organization that is trying to make them pay for what is right -
