Is this a valid business model?

I could take responsibility for global warming, the war in Iraq, even the sinking of the Titanic. No problem.

Let me know.

They called and asked me to sign up, I told them to call back later. They're offering a gift card to an online catalog as a incentive to subscribe to a magazine.

Anybody know anything about them? I've already tried the BBB, and they've had 173 complaints in the last year and a half.

Beyond that... anybody have any experience?

companies like wal-mart, home depot, compusa, etc...

they staff hardly any people, and the people do they hire are morons. cut hours, hire people at crappy wages..etc

the CEO of walmart just received a $20 million dollar BONUS, yet the managers at walmart have told associates "were not doing so good, hours are low!"

i mean, lately ive just read so many disturbing things about large corporations it sickens me!

how do they get away with it?? why arent' there law suits? what is going on with corporate america!

Are there any companies in Australia that make/produce artificial Christmas trees?

If not, do you know of any that design them?

Thanks!

I have an account with a corporation and have made ONE-TIME online payments using my banking account check/credit card. But recently they have made an unauthorized transaction (admittedly so via a phone conversation) which i did not have money in the bank to cover, so my account is now overdrawn by a couple hundred dollars including my banks NSF fee. The corporation's customer service agent with whom I spoke stated that the money was put back in to my account or should be soon, but in the mean time my fees add up. Said Corporation also did state they will repay my bank account for the NSF fees so long as i fax a copy of my bank statement. I am wary to do so since I dont want them having any more of my financial account information. Is there anything I should do like report them to the BBB? Any way of getting compensated for this besides the reimbursement of the money they took without asking?

Obviously Wal-Mart is more popular than Target, it sells way more... but in my world no one likes Wal-Mart, so just wondering if there's anyone out that that likes Wal-Mart better than Target and if so, why?

Thanks.

I am a MyPoints user and extremelly satisfied. I get my rewards and use them as promised. I also use rewards by credit cards and can't say I have ever been treated not as promissed.

Now, I'm in the market for some subscriptions, like netflix and stuff like that... I noticed that some websites promise you BIG rewards (we are talking like laptops, HDTVs, playstation3, etc) if you subscribe to certain magazines, services, etc through them. Are they legitimate? If I do follow all their instructions and 50 million rules, will I get a laptop? or anyone tried and never got your reward?

(I'm talking about these guys:

http://yoursmartrewards.com

http://www.onlinerewardcenter.com )

I figured that since I'm planning on subscribing to those of those services, might as well be rewarded for it... but don't want to reward something if it's a scam.
