Yes it is. There are 2 Starbucks in my town and I have tried it but personally I dont like them. I would rather have coffee from the local town and country. They are crazy expensive too.

They aren't expanding fast anymore. Initially they opened up tons of stores, drove out the competition then closed a large % of their own stores.

I personally do actually prefer their coffee. I like it as dark as possible, heavily roasted, straight black coffee. No one makes it like they do this way, not to their degree at least.

And for that reason, I think there aren't enough of them. I'd prefer to not have to drive 3-5 miles to get to one.

But yes, you can certainly have too much of a good thing.

No, it's not necessary but people like a brand that they are familiar with and that htey perceive they can trust.
