I am not quite sure what kind of law suits you think should be filed. From what you said in your question and from my own personal experience working at Sam's Club while I was in college, Walmart has not done anything illegal. They do not cut the hours of their full time employees, only their par timers. Also, large corporations are not the only businesses cutting hours of part time employees. Small businesses are more susceptible to lulls in revenue, and are more likely to cut hours of part timers or even completely eliminate positions. Nonetheless, if an employee is unhappy with their hours being cut, they always have the right to quit and find another job.

people like you are bitter and twisted at everyone elses success. Walmart does well because it gives the customers exactly what they want - low prices.
What should they do then???? whats your answer??? - Pay the staff thousands more and put up all the prices??? where do you think the customers would go then???? there wouldnt be any customers left so in the end everyone would lose their jobs!!!!! There you go bleating on about the poorly paid staff - nobody holds a gun to their heads and makes them work there do they? wasnt that what america was based on Freedom of choice?
They dont hire morons either, you obviously have got some grudge against the discount sector. I suggest you go to a more upmarket retailer who'll gladly charge you double , whilst still paying their staff crap wages.

why is the U.S answer to everything to take everyone and anyone to a lawsuit?

These conglomerates are just like the bullies in the playground; as long as everyone is scared of them, or even getting some of the profits, they will not challenge them.
The big businesses do it because they can. That is where you and I step in, the little people who are willing to make a noise, protest peacefully and within the scopes of the law. There MUST be a way to get to these people so we can be heard!
Right now the public health system in Australia is in a bad way, people on the surgical waiting lists are dropping like flies whilst Members of Parliament go through the Private health sector. Disgraceful!

The big man will always receive the big bonuses. My company recently stopped giving away stocks as gifts. But the big wigs get more stocks. Its a bunch of crap. Basically Walmart and stores like that are considered menial labor. In other words it doesn't take much skill or education to work there. I am not saying it's not hard work but thats how society sees it. That is why they won't pay well for those jobs.

They haven't done anything illegal. Their shareholders, including Wall St, agree with them. Investors love companies that can generate lots of revenues, keep costs to minimum, and have large market shares. CEOs who can deliver on that get paid well. Older retailers like Sears and K-mart have failed by not able to keep costs down and not knowing how to make money from low margins
