Google Answers was a different model than Yahoo Answers.

- Only those who submit their resume and prove their expertise on specific topics can answer on Google Answers
- People who ask questions have to pay

YA on the other hand is free for all -- you don't pay when you ask a question and anyone can answer (whether you know something or not).

Guess people simply wanted the free business model.

They have grown too big, AND away from the people. Look at how they are so commercialized. Bigger is NOT always better.
