I guess the question should have read "accept responsibility" instead of "took responsibility"

How about we pay you for solving all of these problems. If we paid you to accept the responsibility for causing them,then we would have to prosecute you and you wouldn't be able to spend the money anyway.

Honestly, I'm not sure if it's legal to some degree.
but I wouldn't pay you to accept responsibility for my actions.
It's not fair to you and it would throw my Karma way off.
