I'm thinking about Playstation 3's, iPhones, etc.

All these things which come out in say, Asia or the USA first, then one by one go to each other continent by the quarter...

Why not just a worldwide release?!

I think this is a scam. I received a check from Gorman Milling CO for $3015 with a letter saying that I won $250K. When I try to look up info provided on the check and the letter that came with it, something just tells me that this has RED FLAGS all over it. Has anyone else has a situation like this? There is a number to call, but I don't want to call and talk to someone if I can find out first if it is a scam. Thanks for any help you can give.

Google's price per stock is between 440 to 460. My question is that how does the companies like Yahoo and Google make their money. Everybody knows that they are search engines and what not, but where do they get their final buck, I mean who pays Google or how does it makes money?

I read somewhere on the college bulletin that large corporations(right word?) like JC Penny, Nike, GAP, and other popular businesses use child labor.

Is that true?

Am interested in regulation & supervision of microfinance institutions. I have been a banking regulator/supervisor/inspector for over 16 yrs. Microfinance is increasingly becoming important particularly in developing countries. As a regulator, am seeking
a rating system that will enable me compare the performance and condition of microfinance institutions.
