Google's price per stock is between 440 to 460. My question is that how does the companies like Yahoo and Google make their money. Everybody knows that they are search engines and what not, but where do they get their final buck, I mean who pays Google or how does it makes money?

Companies pay for placement of their listings in the index. There are also ads all over the place.

Advertising is probibly where they make the most money. And I believe you can borrow against the value of you company and at the same time Google will make more than the loan in the time it takes to pay it back.
