I am trying to find out about the laws concerning my mothers financial situation as she is in a nursing home and I don't want the state to get a large chunk of her money if anything happens to her. I have power of attorney and I need to know what to do with her savings, CD's and her house. Do I need to cash in her CD's and invest them to make more money for her care, sell her house, ect.

ok so should i quit my job? i have been working there for like 2 years and have not gotten promoted. other people who came in after me has been promoted and they make more then me while i am still stuck at what i made when i first started the job....the problem is that the management plays favorites and i am not one of them.....They dont like me because no matter what i have told them they still think i have some thing going on with one of the guys who work there and i dont even talk to him any more..anyway its not a big its only a part time job...20-25 hours a week and i already have another job for weekends(flaglar) where i get 2$ more then i get here...(publix) anyway so i ahte it there (publix) and i dont know if i should quit or not....my dad does not think i should quit actually he thinks i should work more and my mom says she does not care as long as i stay in high school.(i'll be a senior) so what should i do...i hate it there at publix..!!!~!!!~

My apartment complex has recently decided to change over into condos and sell. Since they are getting ready to sell to the public they have started making alot of changes to make the place more desirable, although they have been kind enough to let me stay until the end of my lease before they kick me out.
I received a letter on my door, as did all the other tenants, that we are to clear off our patios and can have nothing on them but a doormat. My patio is not an eyesore and is very neat. I have a swing and a couple of plants on it, which I have been told will be removed if I don't remove them. There is nothing in our lease aggreement that we cannot have things on our patio, only that it is not to be used as a storage area.
Is there anything I can do to fight this?? Thank you

What happens to the credit card application after the bank accepts it from the applicant? I have heard that they are bundled together wth other credit card applications and sold off to invetors in the secondary market as financial assets (securities). Is this true? Is this why I can't get it back?

Suppose that a person has "not so good" credit. And no capital at all.
