Even if you as a parent can't afford to put away as much as you would like, how can you instill the saving gene in your child? LOL...they're gonna need it sooo much in the future and kids today just want everything...instant gratification. Your thoughts?

Please answer if you know anything about immigration. I have a friend who is not a legal permanent resident or a US citizen and only has a tourist visa. His main motive is to learn English better but wants to work in the meantime. Even if the job is a volunteer job he wants to work for something to do. So is it illegal for an employer to have him working as a volunteer? And are small random jobs like mowing lawns for pay actually considered something that you need a work permit for?

I recently paid off in full a $500 bill. After I paid it the credit agency said they were going to mail me a receipt and some paperwork saying they were going to delete it off my credit report. If they delete it off my report does that mean that for the future there will be nothing about this incident on it or will it still be on there just saying that it has been paid?

When an interviewer asks for a referral whose name should I give ... a former co-worker or the person I was reporting to? Should I give the names right away or can I say I'll e-mail the referral info and let the people know I'm giving their names and then send in the info?

I have been looking for a career change, and since hockey is, and has been, such a big part of my life. I thought I would look to corporate sales for NHL organizations. It's not really a career change per-say as I am doing Corporate sales now. I am just not selling season tickets and luxary boxes. I have been doing this for the last eight years and could sell ice to an eskimo if I had to. The problem is that all the job postings for this type of job require a College degree. I never did go to college becuase my natural abilty to sell and market items landed me a great job out of high school. I also wasn't the greatest student so sitting through four more years of school didn't intrest me. I also am in no finicial abilty to go back to school either so that isn't an option for me. Even though I have more experiance than most who would be applying for these jobs, How do I get the powers that be, to consider me with out the piece of paper that says I have an education?

We have part of my mom's estate in probate, and still have some property in another state that has to go through probate. Three of us get the portion now in probate. Two of us get the portion in another state.

I have a simple Will, but do I have to add langauge to it make sure my heirs get my portion of mom's estate that has yet to be distributed? You know, assuming something happens to me before her estate is settled.

I'm traveling internationally for 2 weeks, I my husband and I want to make sure we are good.

My husband has a good job offer in Honolulu. We have been to Oahu, Maui, and Kaui on vacations many times and absolutely loved it. But I am wondering how I would like to live there. Where on Oahu should we look for housing. We are vegetarians, and practice yoga.
Thanks so much!
