We have part of my mom's estate in probate, and still have some property in another state that has to go through probate. Three of us get the portion now in probate. Two of us get the portion in another state.

I have a simple Will, but do I have to add langauge to it make sure my heirs get my portion of mom's estate that has yet to be distributed? You know, assuming something happens to me before her estate is settled.

I'm traveling internationally for 2 weeks, I my husband and I want to make sure we are good.

Yes, I would add that portion of your mother's estate that is still in probate...You need to specify who gets what and how much.

I'm not sure they will have any right to your mom's estate if you die before it is probated and distributed. Git r done!

This is too big a question to ask on a public forum. You should go see an attorney.

anything that you have or have coming to you needs to be addressed in your will to make sure it is taken care of upon your death . . . add it
