i believe so isn't that why there is that little box that says check here if you are legally able to work in the US otherwise unless you are an Alain you have nothing to worry about

If the immigrant has a work permit, that is, official status to take on a job in the US then I suspect yes. Otherwise, they would be putting themselves at risk to hire someone who is not legally authorize to work in the United States.

Depends. If its just a job like sales person, cashier, I dont think so.
But if it is a technical job or like a position like head accountant or something and the person is legal, then they would.
