my husband is "sub contracted" by my father, basically for tax reasons. He uses all my fathers equipment and does all my dads ***** work basically. he does not do anything on his own time and he does not have his own equipment. His employment was also not temporary. Well anyways while at work he was told to clean the windows so he got out one of my fathers ladder and on his way up the ladder had a big crack in it which cuased the ladder to give and my husband to fall. HE broke his neck and now he cannot work and we have no income. Is this a possible lawsuit? my father in law says he asked a laywer and they said it sounded like a case. If we do sue their company's insurance would they lose their buisness? how much would it affect them? what could we gain out of this? normally i wouldnt even consider doing this to my family but they have completely refused to help us with money, and fired him so we couldnt claim workers comp either. This happened in Williamson county, TN.

I'm am an accountant and i love my job that gives me lovely pay check .........but i have the worst boss ever who thinks she knows it all which is making life hell for all at work.
You see we currently understaff so the work load is tripple and this stupid boss wants to make things more completcated by adding a different system making thing more ****

if you are trying to pay a a debt that is in collections will they sue you. just got the letter yesterday about it being in collectons. they called and said tomorrow they will make a decsion on what to do if i do not pay. i am worried they will sue me rightt know (today know)while i am trying to go threw cccs which made a payment with american express today. also the letter wants me to send the money not to the collection agency but to american express Who has my account i am confuesed and scared???

Okay... I got a better job offer and was planning to move so I told my boss. He informed the CEO about my decision and all went well... until I reconsidered my decision because I thought there was a better changce of growth if I stay at my current job. I told my boss again and he said I will need to speak to the CEO. I sent him an e-mail explaining my situation. He says cool and wants to speak to me tonight.

Just now I got a call from the other company saying they will double my pay. Now I want to quit again.

I realise I was acting immaturely making big decision on-the-fly. (Even right now I, again, just changed my mind after one call). I don't know how to handle this. Now if I say I wanna quit again I don't know what kind of a person they will think I am.

Advice please please plese
