I used to employ Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) as my financial advisor and they had proprietary software that would automatically retrieve and keep track of my account balances at various financial institutions. I no longer have the PWC relationahip but I want to duplicate the functionality of their software. I can log on to each institution separately and view my balances but I'd like to find a way to automate and aggregate the information.

I want to refinance my home and was told that credit counseling could be problem. I thought credit counseling would be a good thing because I'm trying to get bills paid off. The credit counseling company did not tell me that being enrolled in credit counseling would have a negative effect on my credit. How can I correct this? After talking with my mortgage broker he explained to me that credit counseling companies don't tell you that being in credit counseling could be a problem. Credit counseling companies just want your money. HELP...........

my husband and i own a house is southern california where there are lots of illegals loitering all day. unfortunately, not all of them find jobs. two of them tried to enter my home when i was painting (i had left the door open because of fumes) thankfully my dogs gave me warning and they took off. i called the cops but they were already long gone. before this happened my husbands car was broken into and just yesterday my car was broken into and they took my id plus 2 dollars.

the police claim this is a federal issue and they will not do anything about the hundreds of illegals loitering.

i feel the problem will continue to esculate. but a part of me does not want to sell the house the other half of me says get out! if we do move it will cost a lot of money in gas because we cannot afford to live in this area and must commute. NOT only that but we would have a huge house payment. what do you think i should do? thank you so much.

I am debating buying in the So Cal market (where I currently rent) or move and buy in San Antonio, TX area. I want to get pre-approved for a loan so I know what my options are. Will I need different lenders for each area? Will each market have different kinds of loans available? If I do FHA first time buyer loan would it be the same in each market? We're leaning on San Antonio, mostly because we think we can't afford what/or where we want in CA? Opinions welcome.

I donate to Wateraid, its an international org. working in the worlds poorsest countries mainly in africa and s.e asia. It provides clean water for those who don't have any. But also it provides sanitation ie it provides latrines, finally it provides hygiene education. Combined it can have a major impact on the worlds poorest. And with clean water people can really lift THEMSELVES out of poverty without help from others. I'm thinkin of donating to the WWF as well.
