I start training in New Brunswick, NJ, in September, as a pharmaceutical sales rep for Ortho McNeil/Johnson & Johnson. I was wondering what to expect at the 3-week training class. Please include specifics on things like dress code, hours, roommates, etc. Thanks!

RI is ridiculing the people of their own state by charging them high priced insurance on their homes/cars we pay for our water/sewer/taxes/utilities and then screwed by insurance companies because they know we need them Mass is 1/4 of our state they wonder why people go there now when they Mass was buying here.

As a manager at a health coverage company I have more responsibilities than a non-manager and also have a small staff to supervise. But I just learned (through a budget that was sent to me accidently) that co-workers that are not in management positions earn very close, and in one case, exactly as much as I do. While I value minding my own business, I can't help to feel I am not valued as much as I should be. It actually pisses me off a bit...ok a lot. Should I confront my supervisor about it or just let it be? I DON"T WANT TO GET FIRED. It feels unjust.

Seriously now..

I'm too young to get a job. so don't say that.

I currently have 51$, and in a few days will be getting almost $500 for child support from my dad but 250$ of it goes in a bank for college.

If I can convince my mom to let me use my college money i'll have around 900$, only 1,100 to go.

Plus birthday money i'm gonna get so I should only need another 800$ and have about a weeks and a half to make it =/.

anyone have any suggestions.

I would like to know steps to start a business (not procedures, but the research involved to make sure the business is successful).

Something to consider answering...

Mostly on business planning:
1. How do I find a good distributor/wholesaler?
2. How do I manage the inventory (or how much I should buy initially)?
3. How do I minimize tax?
4. How do I choose a good location?
5. What kind of return should I expect before I put my money in?
6. How do I know if my idea will be practical?
etc.

I am looking for some thorough answers. Thank you VERY MUCH! I do not have a very good knowlege and would like to hear some experienced entreprenuers.

I would like to know if anyone has bought a HUD foreclosure home? What is involved in the process and is it hard getting banks to finance the purchase? Also, has anyone ever bought a foreclosure from the court house(sheriffs sale)? How would I get financing for that when you have to bid on the property? Im new at all this and my first purchase will be for myself to live in. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I am thinking of creating a business that has no office. All the people would work out of their homes and on customer sites. Most communication would be e-mail, web and video. This would be a software company so there isn't any physical manufacturing. Employees are responsible for their own schedules, but goals have to be met to have continued employment. What do you think of this plan? Would you work for this type company? Tell me what you think.

As far as usage goes, I would be paying for utilities in a 2 bedroom apartment, for a family of two. (Myself and my two year old.) I think our use would be neither excessively high nor low. I understand that there's no way to give me an exact total, but an average or estimation would be much appreciated :)

My brother and his wife rented a house in GA they are under a lease for 1 year. The landlord lost his job and decided he wanted to sale the house b/c he needed the money after 6-7 months through the lease. So he brought them to court b/c they refused to move out until their lease was up. The landlord claimed they were $50.00 behind in rent and wanted them out, the judge asked if he wanted them to pay for this month (july) and he said yes, then he asked if he wanted them out after july and he said no, he would like them out in 7 days. The judge granted the landlords wishes and never gave my bro and sis-inlaw a chance to speak...they even had reciepts proving they have NEVER been behind in rent!!! I thought the whole point in court was to hear both sides of the situation?? Can the landlord really break the lease in false claims just b/c he wants to sell his house b/c he lost his job???

I don't want to work at a dead end job for my whole life. I want to have a career, I thought about my own buisness but haven't got a clue where to start. Or what to do, I thought about maybe a wedding planner, or something where people come to me for stuff, but again I don't know. Or maybe a running an inn or something. I don't know I need some pointers to help decide what to do.
