Has anyone been through this. My father is dying of cancer and bills are started to mount after insurance has paid it portion. Can they sieze house after he dies if bills aren't paid. He lost life insurance as well.

im 26, have about 180k in home equity ( i have 3 properts) and im about to sell the houses to see if
can make the move to florida...but im going to start working overtime to start buying more stocks, socking some more $ away..besides sharebuilder, and my 401k, i want to particiapte in some mutual funds...any suggestions? Im female and do not plan on having childre for about 7 more yers. I am single anyways for now. I want to see what your suggestions are for the highest return on my funds.or any other suggestion on how i should invest my money. I dont like accounts with fees, except the fees that are built into the funds. i want to improve my financial life.Thanks

Brief description due to word limits-it's the best I can do. My realtor set my home’s price at $200,000. My home’s buyers are his associate & wife, rental investors. I’m suspicious. Refinancing next door, Sis expects a $265,000 appraisal. My realtor said loan appraisals aren’t real, inflated to increase loans. Is that true?

I was given 30 days to move. The house was FULL of my parents things and in chaos from remodeling. I'm disabled and alone. I didn't want movers because they cannot sort through my parents things to give my family. I offered to pay rent for an additional week, but it was refused. When no papers were received from my mortgage co., my realtor said I could relax. There may be a 1-2 week delay. The next day, he brought a mover to see what furniture must go. He told me I only have until MONDAY. I repeated what he said about the delay, but he denied it, reminding me I’ve already had a month! I feel railroaded. Am I wrong? Is a plea for time unreasonable? I'm a wreck!

I turned 18 about six months ago, and I absolutely refuse to get a credit card. Even the MOST responsible people I know have gotten themselves into a bind with credit card debt, and I don't want to fall into the same trap. I was told that having a contract with my cell phone provider would build up a small amount of credit, and I was wondering what else could do this?

I watched the video on yahoo about getting rid of the penny, and they said that because the price of zinc, it now costs 1.3 cents to make a penny. I personally don't think that we should get rid of it. Just find another metal to make it, or the price of zinc may go down. So should we get rid of the penny?

I know it's a highly personal question, but please answer this for me- and please, be honest. I have been trying to save money (as in save up in the bank), but things are always coming up: emergencies, car repairs, medical needs, etc. I can never save any money, and it's a terrible disappointment. Do most people just live from paycheck to paycheck, or do some people really actually have extra money to save up?

What has been your own personal experience with this? Do you have money saved? What is your secret? How may I also save money?

We have a project to work on, and we were split into two sides, and then to join and work together when we are done. I finished my side of the project, while he was slacking off and did not. My question is what do you do?

A) Talk to him directly several times, until he works. Then if he doesn't report it to a manager.

B) Do his part of the work so you can get out of there faster

C) Say nothing to anyone, and wait for him to finish his side.

D) Report it to a manager right away.
