I heard that by having someone add your name onto their credit card, then never use it then you will start to get offers for credit cards, and you will have the same credit history that the person has. And it is all legal. But get someone who trust you, that has good credit.

I was fired from my last job after barely two months. I believe I was unjustly let go, I should have never left my stable job and joined this awful company with terrible management and politics.
I am now interviewing for some good jobs and things are going quite well. I do not want to talk about the terrible experience I had and left it completely off my resume.
Can I leave this job off the employment application as well (where they ask you to list your most recent employer) and just list the job before that as the most recent?I mean I am hardworking, intelligent guy and do not want this experience to haunt me and prevent me from getting a good job. Will I be OK?

I'm looking for work, so one thing I've been doing is networking. If your friend gave you a lead/contact for a job that didn't quite sound like what you were looking for, do you still get in touch with that lead/contact? And if so, do you try to network from that person, a person you don't even know, without jeopordizing your friendship with your friend? i.e., since you have a lead/contact but it doesn't sound like it will work out, what can you do with it? Or do you not do anything further with it?

I've been out of work for the past 3 weeks... I have a college degree and office experience.. how long do you advise me to start applying for cashier jobs and such..should I wait till say the end of July to begin doing that... so far I'm sending out resumes daily for administrative spots.. the downside right now is I'm running out of funds to pay my bills... and I'm not eligible for unemployment benefits, either..

When you're looking at these magazines off a rack and thumbing through them invariably two or three of the promotional response cards will fall out on the floor and be wasted. Looks like they would be attached to the magazine in some way then the reader could simply tear it out and respond to it whether they bought the magazine or not. At least, in this way, the sales effort would not be wasted!

Well, when those are paid off, why is that I still won't be able to get a credit card, and is there any way that I can build my credit up again?
