If you want to build a resume, Hooters or stripping won't do much for you. You may need to consult a career counselor, someone who can make sure your resume is strong and can counsel you on interviewing techniques. You also can't rely on just sending out resumes. You should identify businesses that interest you and contact them directly. You should do your best to get as many interviews as possible. You should network, asking friends if there are job openings where they work. Don't give up and settle for something that is beneath you!

Hey if you decide to be stripper, let me have some free trials so that I can give you some pointers. ;) Just kidding!!!!!
You asked, "should I consider working at Hooters or stripping?" I think that you should not consider such a thing. If nothing else, consider all the time, effort, hard work, dedication, and money that you put into getting this degree. Don't let this all go to waste. Just by being a college student, you are doing better than a loooooooot of other people in the world (even in ths US). You have a college degree. That means a lot (at least to me because I know what I had to go through and I still am). Don't give up. Just keep looking. There may be other factors at play here. If worst comes to worst, just grab any old job (hopefully NOT stripping) and continue your education. Having a degree never hurts anyone. Go for a Master's in the meanwhile like an MBA or go for a double major. Study something else you like or just take some classes at a community college/university that you have always wanted to take but never could about things that interest you.

I don't think you should even consider stripping. Do you not think that you are worthy of a better job than stripping?? You have a Bachelor's degree, so make good use of it. A Degree in Business Administration is actually very useful and there are many jobs such as office/clerical positions that require that. Post your resumes online at those popular websites like http://www.monster.com, http://www.careerbuilder.com and so forth. It is a very effective way to get responses as I have gotten many responses myself. Your degree can get you a good paying-job that is respectable and well-paying, so don't give up and resort to those bad jobs. Many jobs require the degree you have. Post your resume online, register with all the employment agencies, go to the workforce connection offices in your city as they have jobs and can help you with your jobsearch. Also, maybe the city you live in is small and has limited opportunites, that's why you cannot find a job. So, you really should consider moving to a larger city where there are many jobs such as Phoenix, Arizona. I found a ton of jobs here.
If you have to choose between hooters and stripping, Hooters would be a better choice. Also, consider working in other jobs like restaurants, retail sales, supermarkets, convenience stores, etc.. Go and apply wherever you see the help wanted sign. You can also do searches online at http://www.google.com for jobs and any information regarding your field and so forth.
Stripping is not really a good idea. Try something else at least. Why strip when with your degree you can actually get a very good paying job?

You haven't told us what occupation you are looking for. I think that would be more helpful to us so we can answer your question more thoroughly. Besides that, please do not go into stripping..you can make a lot of money..but you went to college and got your degree to do something else right?
Do you want to work for in Healthcare like you specialized in? Or you want to go into more general Business Administration? Or perhaps a different field entirely? You have to ask yourself these important questions. Once you know, you have to do some research. Be sure to check out companies in your field of interest and in your region..and perhaps expand your region of interest if there aren't many companies around the area.
For example, let's say you want to work in Healthcare...try doing an internship or volunteering for a healthcare insurance company. I know, you have to swallow a lot of pride especially when you have graduated and already have a degree. Truth be known, I did two internships for no pay after I graduated and got the experience I needed to get a decent full-time job. If you need money really badly...I would suggest talking to a staffing agency where you could get temporary or contract work as a office assistant or in data entry. The pay isn't great around 10-12/hr, but beats doing fast food.
You have already taken your first step by having a career center counselor review your resume..thats great. Now, try to highlight skills and experiences of your past work history. Basically, they call it "positioning" yourself for your ideal job. For example, if a job is a business analyst job and requires MS Office skills...be sure to include all your experiences using Microsoft Office applications. You can exclude other experiences if it is not relevant to the job description. Your resume may change from position to position..so I would keep a general resume that you can modify to apply for differing positions.
Also, keep in mind..since you said you were very attractive..maybe try modeling or something like that. It is more professional than stripping. Good luck.

No. it will hurt you in the long run. what will happen when you want to start a family? no one likes a pregnant stripper. what happens if in a few years when you are still young and could strip but decide you want to use that degree you earned? a business administrator is a very professional career and I dont think a company would want a stripper associated with their company. what happens when you are too old to strip? you have a degree, but its old and you never even used it so no one will hire you because you have to stay up to date. dont blow your $ that you put towards an education and start stripping. it maybe easy to get that kind of job but I am sure it would be SUPER STRESSFUL!!! just keep looking, and if moving is an option, then look elsewhere.

Don't give up. Now, having a degree does not always put you ahead in life, but keep looking and pray about it. God will answer you :) Don't strip, you are too good for that and don't let anyone tell you differently. Also, go to a bank. I work at a bank and make 15 dollars per hour. I only work 30 hours, but it is a good start.

how long ago did you graduate?? it took me about 7 months to find a job and i looked really hard, and when i got when, it wasn't even exactly what i wanted, but i took it because i was desperate.
you actually might be TOO good looking and that's why they aren't hiring you. if you get interviews, but then aren't hired, and your interviews are fine, that could be it. i'm just thinking of that one seinfield episode. :)
i wouldn't strip or work at hooters. if you want to to be taken seriously, that would really screw things up. you would never be able to use it as a reference and if someone at a company that you were trying to get into recognized you, there might be a problem. but.. hooters would be better than a strip club. if you stripped, try to do it as far away from the city where you want to work as possible, (like a nearby city).

Girl, your a brave one lol.
I think that you might want to consider relocating if you can't find a job in your area. Hard for me to believe that you can't find a job. I don't know how long you have been out of school but, it does take time to find a job. Consider putting your resume at places that aren't currently hiring.
I'd hate to see you start dancing for money. Although, I am not totally opposed to it. If you do, keep in mind that strippers make really good money and that this amount of cash follow is only for a short period of time. Making that much money can get addictive. Not to mention you'll be up all night at the club dancing making it hard to get out of bed to look for a more dignified career.
I really hope you don't have to resort to taking your clothes off. But you have to do what you have to do.
Just be mindful in your decision.
Good luck!

Take it easy. sometimes it takes a while to get a job. I have nothing against stripping but if you do that you will just be wasting your bachelors degree. have you exhausted all options in getting a job? try working for a small company first, gain experience and try getting a job with a bigger company.
If your considering stripping, then you have a great body to go with your brains.
