He loves Apple Computer and Pixar. I thought Apple would be a great company for him to start investing. I just want to add a share or so at a time. Yes, I know the transaction fees will be costly if I go through a traditional brokerage firm but is there a way to buy single shares at a reasonable cost?

I'm looking to attempt to find independent financing/investors/??? for a business training horses - something I have experience doing. I'm at a point I really need to get a place of my own and not rely on subleasing - which means needing to focus on getting money to buy land and a basic operation setup. A bank loan is out of the question. I need to put together a strong business plan - and am finding it difficult to find step by step advice online. I'd greatly appreciate constructive input or links, advice etc from a business standpoint to get this off the ground. There will be a branch to other things besides just training.I'm not asking for $$ - but how to put together a business plan and trying to give enough information about what I'm doing to tailor the view to *that*. It's not like a mega company or store - business principles similar but there's much different.

I have many things I would like to do. I'm only in ninth grade, but I'm one of those people who like to plan ahead. Here are the few things I'm thinking about. I want to know the ups and downs of them. I'm good at English/Literature/History, but I'm awful at Science and Math. I have 'okay' people skills, although they could be better.

Journalism.
Pediatric Oncologist.
Acting/Drama.
Physical Therapy.
Art collector.

Alright, I'm 20 and running a web design business. I want to purchase a house by age 25 in the $200-300k range. By then I should have anywhere from $50-100k saved up in the bank as I don't spend a lot of my money on worthless things. If I'm wanting a house and a car in the $15-25k range, how much income should I shoot for if I'm both single or married?

These days, with gas prices being so high, I wonder if these companies are going to go out of business? They only manufacture giant cars that guzzle gas. And with the price of imports being fairly comparable to many American cars, why wouldn't you choose a car that got better gas mileage?

Just to be clear, I am not advocating that this happen. I think that it would be very unfortunate- it would eliminate many really good paying jobs. But, I think that the companies are headed for this fate. What do you think?

Can I sue for wrongful termination of employment? A coworker said I pushed her. I DID NOT. I was fired. My boss fired me the next day. I had a dispute with the coworker that said I pushed her, she went to pass me by and I put my hands on her shoulders as she was about to pass me by to stop her from ignoring me BUT I DID NOT PUSH HER. I never had a problem with this coworker, in fact I had done many favors for her, even went to visit her in the hospital when she was sick. I had never had a problem with anyone at work. I had worked at the company for 3 years. I was one of the original employees hired when it first opened. My boss didn't want to hear my side of the story she said she had spoken to the coworker that said I pushed her, and that she had heard enough. No witnesses, no proof just one side of the story. Do I have a case? Any lawyers or legal advisors out there??

A "life coach" or "personal coach" is someone who you can communicate with who will sort of be your friend, be on your side, and help you solve problems and achieve goals. They charge a fee, usually a monthly fee. But most are so expensive, in the neighborhood of $300 to $500 per month just for e-mail communication. I can only afford about $50 or $60 per month! Does anyone know of a personal coach or life coach that I could afford? I would want it to be someone who is really smart, really people savvy, really sympathetic, really worldly wise, really motivated to help others.
