I hate my new boss but I have only six months before I retire. I've gone to far to quit. Help!!!.?

I had a co worker that felt the same way....everyday he would come to work & say "only -- days left" he was counting down the days until he retired. Don't quit, you'd regret it forever if you did. Did you ever think that may be what he wants? It isn't fun going to a job that you hate or hate other employees. Get a calendar & start marking off the days. On your last day be as cheerful as ever, don't let your boss get the best of you. Good luck

Take some vaction if you have any just to get a way from it all for a while go back with a fresh out look and try to avoid your new boss if possible best of luck

so whats the problem.. just keep working for a6 months.. that is not a long time at all. You can make it.. I worked for a place for over 4 years that I hated.. you can do it for 6 months.

In my case I took all my vacation days in a chuck and they came to me and said. " let us pay you out till you retire". I got an even longer paid vacation before I "offically" retired

You should go to work everyday with a smile on your face because you have six months to go and he will still be stuck there.

Tell him that you know your job well, but that you have just six months to go and you'll be out of his hair. Tell him that you find it difficult to work with him, but it might be best for both of you to just cool it until you are gone.

If he gets uppity remind him that you can make his job difficult and he can make your job difficult. But it shouldn't come to that.
