I have been to a couple neighborhood places and have been to several really nice salons. And while I will say that the overall experience, treatment while in the salon and the manicurist's methods are different - (and I do appreciate the experience), part of the overall joy of a manicure is how great it looks to next day. Unfortunately, I don't see a huge difference in the appearance of the $25 place compared to the $50 place. So, ladies (and gents if you want) - where's the best manicure in Des Moines?

I'm also looking for a great place to get my haircut !!

Some females have a style of their own. How do they create that? I buy a lot of things, I waste lots of money, but yet I cant be like them. they look very attractive with a style. Males look at them.

So my best friend and I are planning on going tanning before we leave for a dance trip in L.A. and both of us have never been tanning before...is there a certain way to do it? how would you go about tanning? My child left her pierced earrings on way too long. The plastic backs are hardened onto the post. They are not the flat round ones. These are small clear plastic tubes. There must be a softener of some kind, no? Please help.

I am a 15 yr old female and i found some clothes that i really like, but the problem is that they are goth clothes. My mom has had problems with me wearing black in the past, so when i tell her about the goth clothes i wanna buy she will probably FREAK. Oh and im not goth, i just like goth clothing.
