Makeup - November 2006

I love MAC makeup...i use studio fix powder foundation...its building up on the compact...and im having to scrap off the makeup to makeup so i can use it...I hate it doing that! Any advice on why it does that? Whats a good site where I can order it cheaper?

I'm looking for a good liquid foundation that covers up un-even skintones. I have semi-oily skin and i'm afraid to use liquid f. because i don't want to break out will wearing it. I've been using bare minerals, i don't break out with it, but its not really that good of coverage. If anyone could list any brands that are good, and don't look caked-on when its applied, that would be a huge help!

does anyone know a type (brand) of nail polish tht will not get messed up when you wash the dishes and such? idk maybe they invented something like tht, so just wonderin :)

i want colored contacts, but i dont know what color, i know this sounds dumb! i recently died my hair a medium brown from blonde, all i got from tanning is classic ivory skin (thats what my makeup bottle says, but i used to be all white and pasty), and light brown eyes. what color would look best? can i get them at walmart? what brand?

i have tried loreal eyeliner. It is great but the eyeliner pencil breaks off quickly and I have to buy it every 15 days. i am looking for an eyeliner that stays on nicely and doesn't break easily

there are a lot of make-up foundations everywhere, but i am looking for one that would suit the oily skin types..most foundations ive tried doesn't last that long and eventually makes my skin feel greasy and all that. what would you recommend? thanks!

i have dry skin but also acne since i'm still a teenager. of course i'm self-concious and try to use makeup, but i can't find anything that isn't like a huge cakey layer. i also wash my face every night and use prescribed face lotion but my skin still looks awful. any advice?

I'm a freshman in highschool, and I started wearing make-up in the seventh grade. Back then I would only wear one coat of mascara and a little lip gloss, but ever since then, I've been starting to wear more and more, and now I wear entirely too much for my age. I love COVERGIRL mascara; I love Great Lash, too (I think that is by Maybelline). I've been seeing these great lashes around lately on girls and I am thinking: my mascara doesn't do that! I don't reckon they are false lashes because I am seeing this great-lashed girls in the daytime. Can y'all help me find a better mascara!
