i used two different products this year.
for a quicker "tan" "sally hansen airbrush sun" you shower and exfoliate, apply a moisturiser and spray it on. then rub it in. i suggest spraying on one body part at a time and rubbing in before moving on to the next body part. it works well and doesn't look orange. but i only use once and then let it fade. if you over do it, you may look orangey. not sure.

2. oil of olay "touch of sun radiance reviver body lotion" for dry skin. it is a great product that will, over the course of a week or so, develop your skin into a tan glow. it definitely causes no orangey tinge.
good luck! happy un-tanning!

Many drugstore self tanner have that effect, epically if you have fair skin like I do. I have tried many different brands, including high end to drug store varieties, and have found the drugstore varieties to work just as well as the high end varieties. To answer your question though, the self tanners that look the most natural are the gradual tanners. Most gradual tanners are very similar but the one I use, and find that works well, is Coppertone, Sunless tan, gradual tanner. Good Luck Being a Golden Goddess!

Neutrogina ofers tanners that are customised to your color. Before you "tan", be sure your skin is properly exfoliated and moisturized. You can make your own exfoliant by combining olive oil and sugar or kosher salt and rubbing it all over your body in the shower. Rinse it ALL off, then apply a light moisturizer. This will help you achieve an EVEN tan and prevent dirty looking patches.

Good Luck.
