I have kind of tan skin and hazel eyes. what kind of make up would look better on me?

I don't wear much, so I'd like to get some advice for when I do. I'm half mexican and I'm outside in the sun way too much, so my skin is extremely dark :( But I was wondering what shades/colors looked the best?

I tell her (name) I love you with all my heart and I am forever thankful the day you stepped into my life.I buy her flowers, candy, stuff toys. give her a massage. listen to what she has to say, listen to her problems without trying to solve them for her. take her out for a romantic picnic under the stars or by the beach. write her poems, songs or a romantic letter or email. call her on the phone to let her know that I'm thinking of her.spend time with her instead of going out with friends. compliment her on her looks,cooking,etc. give her a kiss. watch girlie movies with her and hold her close when the sad part comes on. I'm understanding to her feelings and I try to be nice if she feels upset or is having one of those mood swings(For example,when she has her period). I can always surprise her.hehe. I do not do this on a daily basis. I'm faithful,honest, I love her for her, and I love her deeply and truly.
I am not like this every day so i can surprise her. I dont do this daily.

OK, so the point of eyeshadow is to bring out the color of your eyes, right? But in order to do that, do you use the complimenting color, or the contrasting color? Or the same color as your eyes?
For example, to bring out blue eyes, would you wear green, blue, or pink eyeshadow?
For green eyes, would you wear blue, red, or green eyeshadow?
For brown eyes, would you wear brown, red, or blue eyeshadow?
And so on...

Am at wedding and makeup (in my opinion) never lasts the whole day- even the expensive stuff- its all lies! anyway is there some trick im missing, i get an oily t-zone so that doesnt help- help me you lot!

i'm sort of active i ride my bike every day twice a day to equal 2 hours of riding. i like the liquid foundation, but if you can suggest a powder foundation that would be great too. i tried covergirl and everytime i would ich my cheeck or use a napkin the foundation would come off. i also tried perscritives and i loved it, but it's about $40 a bottle. i need something that i can get at walmart or target.
