I saw this homemade toner on another website and all the ladies there swear by it. It is said to shrink pores:
Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar Toner
1/2 Bragg's ACV to 1/2 green tea
apply with cotton ball as you normally would a toner
As for foundation, I use Cover Girl. The kind that comes in the big compact looking things that you apply with a sponge. (Wish I could remember the name but I can't, sorry!) Estee Lauder makes good foundation but Prescriptives has the best foundations for problem skin. Hope this helps!

Well 1st of all, you want to treat that and not just cover it up. Remember that the makeup you put on your face also sits in your pores. Look for pore refining products. Lotions, toners, and face washes. I think nutrogena makes a whole line for it. The absolute best foundation I have ever used..and I have used tons...is Trucco by Sabastian. You can get it at Trade Secret. Check it out online. You are paying more, but it makes me so flawless, that my boyfriends Aunt who is an makeup artist comliments me on my skin all the time. Thats a good compliment coming from someone who does makeup for a living. Besides nothing is too good for your skin. You can never spend too much. What you want is DuoPowder Foundation (pressed powder) and Skintones Foundation. Swear on my life you will love what it does for you. Yes foundation can make you look older than you are, so its key to use the best you can buy.

I use MAC! I've been using this almost 3 years. I have oily skin and some blemished areas on my face. It covers everything and is very light. I'm 22 and it works for me. I used to use Clinique and I heard about it through a friend. I suggest that you visit the cosmetics counter at a department store and tell them what your needs are and I'm sure that they will guide you in the right direction. I would suggest Belk or Macy's.

I don't wear foundation but from what I've seen on TV the sheerest kind are sprayed on a sponge and applied only to the problem areas. Don't use too much because then you'll have that made up look. If applied properly I don't think it'll make you look older.

I would reccomend that you use covergirl matte foundation, its light and brezzy on your face and doesnt cake up like alot of foundations do, also to find your true shade try putting a small dot on the inside of your wrist its the closest shade to your face. Good Luck and Stay Fabulous

find a foundation that is medium coverage. it will cover things you want it to cover and your face will look radiant. Also, Since you are still young find a foundation that has SPF protection, you want to stay away from the harmful rays. In the future you will benefit from it.

Everyones skin is different and every product is different. You just need to test out and find which one fits your skin the best. I've been wearing make-up for 10 years now and finally found the perfect kind. My honest opinion is Mary Kay... they match it to perfection! Also, they got this cool virtual make-over thing that helps you find the right colors for your skin, eye, and hair color!
