I'm black and I love to wear gold eye shadow. We can get away with wearing bolder colors that might be too overpowering on other people. But you should know that you can wear any color you like. It just depends on your taste and what YOU think looks good. No one can tell you that.

Just about any color will work on black skin.. It depends if you want it to pop out at you or not.. If you do then i would wear really light colors like pastels... And if you dont go for the darker colors... But either way they will totally show up.....

You can experiment with most any color. If you have strong red undertones or strong yellow, you can take your cue from that stance. It also depends on your age. If you're 20, you can wear most any color. If you're 50, you might want to stick with more neutral tones. Go to a makeup counter and play around. If you know your MAC shade, write to them online and they will send you suggestions.

I think black skin looks beautiful with natural colors, I love the way bronze looks on dark skin.

well if you have darker skin, you want to go with a natural look (as anyone should) try a light bronze color, or a creamy pink. but remember, dont put to much on. guys laugh at a girl that looks like a clown.
You never want to have make-up that stands out. and if it does, only very little.
when you are putting on make-up, you want to go for a more natural look. :)
well good luck!

I think you could try different colors, but black is beautiful, so try what colors you like, or go with the clothes colors you are wearing. Have fun and try it all.

It depends mostly on your skin tone. Try the Mary Kay Virtual Makeover at http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson/whatsnew/virtualmakeover/default.aspx?tab=whatsnew There are three black models on there. Pick the one whose skin tone is closest to yours and see what types of colors they suggest. I think this site will really help.

it doesnt really matter skin color, whats more important is the eye color.
ps//all almay products show up even on the darkest of skins.( and it doesnt look odd)
and if you still dont know, look at magazines with the black women and check out their eye shadow.
