The style right now is dark, dark, dark lips and subtle eyes.
I bet you would look fabulous in a deep, almost brownish purple lipstick. Then sweep your eyes with a very soft light brown. Highlight your brow line and the inside corners of your eyes with a very light almost shiny highlighting shadow.
Be careful not to overdue. Go outside with a mirror.
The most important thing you can do is experiment and then experiment more to find your personal style.
Another thing you could do is get together with a close friend and spend and evening having fun with all different shades.
Sometimes it's really best to get another opinion.
Good Luck. I'm sure you are beautiful without a lick of make up anyway! Have you considered that?
Best wishes,
Sarah

I have dark skin also.. so what I us is like a gold bronze type of eye shadow and a natural color lip gloss.. but some colors for eye shadow depends on the type of colors your eyes are.. like if you have Brown eyes purples brings everything out.. pink shades work for blue eyes.. and green eyes warm colors like gold, bronze and olive greens and also some blues.. hazel eyes.. you would have to test and see because there are always different types of those.. I hope this helps = )

I'm a makeup artist in st. louis and i see alot of people with this question. Bronze and gold shadow. get some highlighter lotion that will make your skin glow and please use some sunscreen 30 min before going outdside. light greens and light gray and creme colours but u have to put them on light until u get use to wearing them. browns and beige look good to. hope this was helpful.
