Hair - November 2007

My dad had white-blonde hair for all of his childhood, but the older he got, the darker his hair got. His hair got so dark it turned black. He never dyed it.

The same happened to each and every family member (though their hair went dark brown, not black like my dad's) except me.

I was born with dark brown hair and it's lightened to a medium brown.

im looking for a more effective way, it seems as if they just keep getting thicker. i usually only get the bottom part of my eyebrow waxed but the top of them get too tall sometimes and i have to get it waxed too. i just hate how red i am afterword and am looking for better solutions for this problem. any ideas?

I have cotillion (formal dance) tomorrow. I am wearing a teal and black halter neck dress and a teal necklace. I am currently trying to work on hairstyles and everything I try isn't working. I have extremely light blonde (natural) hair. It very voluminous and wavy naturally. I own a hair straightener, straightening spray, hair spray, styling cream, hair curler, heated curlers, leave in conditioner, scrunching spray and blow dryer. i have dark to medium brown hair...
im getting gold or caramell highlights in my hair...
at the salon it costs 100 dollors for a cut and highlights
do you think its worth it?
i have a job .... its at a supermarket its alright but i make 26 a day on average so i can save money pretty quickly... this week i made 79 dollors for 3 days so if i pay that much its not i like i cant pay for anything else such as my phone bill and etc

Tomorrow I am getting my hair dyed and I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days.. The last time I washed it was Tuesday night so would it be safe to wash it tonight ? Or will it be too clean? I know it is good to have natural oils in the hair when you go to dye it..
Also if I wash it I want to do a deep conditioning treatment (you know the kind that you let sit in the hair and rinse out) just so it is healthy since the dye does damage it. Do you think this is ok ? I just want to get the best possible result tomorrow !

Well I always thought that you were supposed to wash your hair everyday- that's waht I do. Same with all of my friends, we all wash our hair everyday. Now I'm reading a bunch of these questions and everybody's saying that it's really bad to do that. Is it? How often do YOU wash YOUR hair?

I'm a guy with hairy legs. I'm to embarassed to get them waxed professionally. I have tried waxing & it hurts way to much. I can only pluck hair one by one which takes forever. I'm niot gonna shave them as the hari will be prickly & grow back quicker. I want to get rid of the hair permanently
