the straighteners that are good are usually not that cheap. i bought mine at sally's beauty supply for 40 when it was originally 60. best straightener i've ever had. i had a conair one before and i got it at walmart for 14. it worked well but compaired to the one i have now, it's nothing.

you can buy some cheap straighteners on ebay, though I wouldn't recommend it. You definately get what you pay for, and some can really burn your hair.
You would be better of investing in a good quality straightener. It will last you years, so $100-$300 isn't too much really.
Some great brands are: Muster, GHD and Silver Bullet.

DO NOT BUY GHDs OFF EBAY they tend to be replicas and there are very convincing, GHDs retail around £100 I suggest buying from GHDuk themselves and then u always have the reassurance if anything goes wrong then ur covered

Supper-market, but be carefully of which one!!! Don't mess around with straightener, your hair might burn or come off. That's why its expensive it makes it idiot proof.

Lots of people come to the salon and then half of the hair is gone like in really no hair gone and we have to fix it, BUT YOU CAN'T!!!!!
