i wana know y we have hair because there is no point to it such as feet have the purpose of walking, eyes help us to see.......there is no [purpose to hair that i can think of!

okay i just put some blonde streaks in my light bown hair. [5 days ago?]
now i wanna go full blonde, really light.

i wanna know how long i should wait to bleach it again, not what's necessairly reccommended but without having the risk of my hair becoming too damaged and breaking/falling out.

any tips on bleaching are welcome and would be much appreciated.

I honestly can not stand my hair. I used to have it cut very short (only 3 or so inches long) but I grew it out to please my friends and family. The thing is I hate it. But I dont want to botch it up by just picking a hairstyle from a magazine...experience tells me what looks good on Haley Berry or Meg Ryan isnt nescesarily for me!

Any ideas?
People with Salon experience perfered...

Alright, i'm 16;Guy, and i have typical guy hair it's long and reaches my eyes,

I wan't to dye it, but i don't want to get the dye on my scalp, any ideas on how to do that?

Last time, it made me shed more hair than usual.

Ok my friends shaved off my eyebrows!! My friend Andrew was working on my side burns... Then He Just Shaved them off !! :(.... Im upset and depressed but i forgave him...
I have a fear they wont grow back or will take a long time...

He did it on a thursday and we had school today but i ditched...

I was going to cut my hair short (like a pixie cut), but then half way through cutting, I sort of chickened out. So I decided to cut my hair like Erica Peck's. http://hs.facebook.com/photo_search.php?oid=2332851797&view=all

(In other words that sort of grown out mullet look).
I'm 16, and the Garth look is definately not for me.

Ok I highlighted my hair (blonde) & now want to go an all over dark brown (I'm naturally a light brown)...
I've been told that I have to dye the highlighted areas a chestnut to make it a dark brown is that true?.....

I am growing out blunt cut bangs. Right now the bangs that are growing out are about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches past my chin. Since they are long, they don't look good as side swept anymore because they are flat. I found a great way to do a side part and make my hair look great.

The only thing is, my roots are flat because my hair is long. (Bra Strap Length.) I wear my hair stright and want to keep doing it, I just need to get some volume in my roots. Whatever I do has to be done on dry hair before I leave for school.

What do you suggest?

Asides from taking a shower of course...my little sister went to Senior Paint Out today...it's where all the seniors in high school have this huge paint fight...she came home covered with paint from head to toe and took the longest shower ever. Despite the shower, her hair still has bits of paint all over...

What are some ways to get the paint out? Surely there are tricks to do that.

every morning when I wake up, one side of my hair is frizzy. I HATE that. It irritates the heck out of me. And that side of my hair is shorter than the other. and my edges at the nape of my neck are very short. What can I do to stop it? I'm African-American if that helps.

ok my hair always feel off but now its worse! I had my son 1yr 1/2 ago and i know after you have a baby your hair falls off but its still falling!

The thing is it doesnt even look like i lost anything but in the shower hair is everywhere when i wake up its over my pillow. I have a toddler and i have to sweep and vacuum alot because my hair is everywhere! I already cut off like 5inches off and it stopped for the first 2 weeks and now its back to normal...

What can i do or should i do? Do i need some sort of vitamins?

I got my brows down about a month ago and the stupid woman was on the PHONE while waxing them, needless to say they came out horribly uneven. One is the way I like it, the other is short and she also went in to far.
How long will it take to grow back?
Is there any product that will help them grow back sooner?

Any helpful advice would be great!

Grr I just hate it, I always have... I had curly hair as a little girl, and then it went wavy and now - well, it's a bit wavy underneath, curlyish by my ears and straight on top - it's ridiculous, and I can't brush it because it goes frizzy and huge...
It's currently just beneath shoulder length with a couple of layers which just don't hang right, and I have a fringe which I'm growing out and it flicks out at all angles...
I always have a side parting but it just hangs all lank and crap unless I spend hours straightening it... I also LOVE my hair to be big, which usually means I backcomb it because curling takes too long...
It's taken me ages to grow it and I can't cut it because I'm an actor and my contract says so!

What can I do :(
