Hair - October 2007

My hair is naturally wavy. It's shoulder length right now (I'm trying to grow it out) But I'm getting really bored with my hair. I want to get a trim soon. and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for new hair styles. bangs? layers? heres some pics

I need advie, a few years ago probably six years I started dying my hair. It was golden brown for awhile and I dyed it a few times afterward within 2 years I bleached it only once. Then I died the roots a few times because my mother stated that you can't let dark roots show, then I died it back to brown and once after that. Well I did damage my hair, I tried to grow it out but it kept breaking and I trimmed it a few times and always had thin hair for a few years it never seemed to get better so stupidly I straightened it and blow dried it for awhile to hide the style. Is any way I could save it or is this permanet since it took me a few years to realize the problem and my hair hardly grew and looked terrible. I had the same dyed hair on my head for a few years and hardly cut it, a few months ago my hairdresser cut most of it. It looked better but now its growing in thin and I am having it cut in a few weeks and my hair isn't all natural yet. Is there anything to get it healthy?

My hair is all over the place.... i have so much angel, puffy, frizzy hair everywhere, and i have to use gel all the time to keep it "normal",,,, but im afraid the gel damages my hair even more and gets it stuck all the time.... help pls.... what should i do??

who here likes brylcreem and i'm not talking about the new line of products but the original brylcreem sold in a tube made popular back in the 50's personally i think its better then gel. I also like pomade you can still have girls run their fingers threw it but with gel you can't what i like about brylcreem is that its not too greasy and it controls your hair without the stiffness of a gel.

i am 26 years old female. I take Emergen-C vitamin everyday and try to eat well...I don't know what's going on with my hair! is this normal - to lose hair? what can i take to stop it and strengthen it!
My hair is not that long and i get it trimmed every once in a while.
btw, it has also become drier than usual at the tips...

I have black hair and I try to make my front part of hair go right and make it stay there. But I have kinda long black hair and it always goes straight down. No matter how much I like comb it sideways, it stays straight. I tried gel but it eventually goes straight again. How can I make my front part of hair go sideways without using gel? I just want my hair to be smooth so it wont get messed up and i want just my front side of hair to stay sideways and keep it smooth so i can run my hair through it. And im not bald tryin to do a comeover im 14

i can't seem to make my hair look nice at all...
-i use a special straightening shampoos (redken) and creams
-i blow dry then straighten
but every time i go outside it gets wavy, even when i put tons of hairspray on. is there any other way to keep it straight all day?
