I have black hair and I try to make my front part of hair go right and make it stay there. But I have kinda long black hair and it always goes straight down. No matter how much I like comb it sideways, it stays straight. I tried gel but it eventually goes straight again. How can I make my front part of hair go sideways without using gel? I just want my hair to be smooth so it wont get messed up and i want just my front side of hair to stay sideways and keep it smooth so i can run my hair through it. And im not bald tryin to do a comeover im 14

do you have front bangs that go across your entire forehead? if so, then maybe you should get side bangs instead that are cut diagonally. Also, if you clip your hair to the side while its drying then it might stay- or just subtly keep in bobby pins throughout the day in your hair
