What are ways to manage it, & do you have any special ideas for any styles besides ordinary ponytails? My hair is getting pretty long, & I can't handle it anymore. I don't want to cut it all off again. I want to continue to let it grow long. Also, could my kinky hair be damaged for going long lengths of time without combing it? Sometimes I get depressed & just don't have any energy. But I want my hair to grow long & healthy. I wash my hair like twice or 3 times a week & put conditioner in it, but I get too emotionally depressed to comb it out & it gets all matted. & when I do comb it, it only looks silky & shiny "sometimes" & very nappy at other times. It's like my hair plays tricks on me.

see i am half black and hlf puerto rican so my hair is not nappy but not straight all i want to know is how are some ways i can mak it so my hair becomes only curly and wavy an how i can loose my frizz in my hair without uing anything that will damage my hair! also if you want you can leave me some steps for curly hair styles! well bye

Okay i have very curly thick hair (btw i'm half white half black)but it's not like the curly hair u see on most mixed ppl most of them have type 3b hair but i have 3c type hair (link to explain=http://www.curlyhairsalon.com/hairtypes.... i use all sorts of prouducts to tame the frizz and make it look stylish but it always ends up to above my shoulder wich is really short considering i have long hair when straightened i want to know how to get this look http://www.curls.biz/curlyq_twins_regime... I'm about to get braids with Wet n Wavy human hair so how I can I get it wavy? Should I buy something or should I just but water on it? I've heard water doesn't work too well so I'm looking for something that will. Thanks.

on the back of my head, close to my neck, there suddenly appeared a bald spot a few weeks ago when i got a haircut. i dismissed it, assuming the barber must've erred. but now my hair, although still short since it's only been a few weeks, has been growing longer and there's no hair growing from the bald spot, which is a tiny patched circle, but noticeable. im waiting for my hair in the back to grow long enough so that it'll cover it up, but i'm wondering what might've caused it. i haven't fallen, nor has anything happened to that area in the past few weeks. what's wrong with me?

I am 25 years old, I used to have quite thick hair, but the last 6 months it has been steadily getting a little thinner. When I wash my hair or brush it excessive amounts of hair is coming out. Not huge clumps to be noticed but enough. What could be causing this?

I am over weight (not obese), my hair does go greasy often (I wash it every day), I am also getting a lot of greys....any explanations?

I naturally have dark brown hair, very pale skin and blue eyes, and my eyebrows are light brown.

Can anyone find a pic of someone with my colourings i.e. pale skin, blue eyes, naturally dark hair, with natural looking highlights?

I don't mind as long as they're *not* chunky or streaky lol, I just want something to break up this block of colour, but *pleeeeease* post a pic so I can take to my stylist...thanks :)

I have long (about 5 inches past my shoulders) layered hair and a side fringe / bangs if that helps.

Thanks ahead of time...... I got a perm... bad idea. I wish the girl told me my hair wasnt good enough. I was using Biolage for a while, the Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Conditioning Balm and Shampoo. It did ok. I ended up with the conditioner in the tube... not the same! I have been getting Redken PPT protein treatments and it helps a lot. I know you need a really good conditioner after (any recomendations) Is there a better way to apply this stuff? Pump foam i guess. I was thinking about trying Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner. Which do you prefer. Can i mix either conditioner with the protein treatment? Should i throw in the anti snap if I go to redken. I was using the leave in biolage. Please ADVISE... WEDDING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!! Getting foiled today!
