Thanks ahead of time...... I got a perm... bad idea. I wish the girl told me my hair wasnt good enough. I was using Biolage for a while, the Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Conditioning Balm and Shampoo. It did ok. I ended up with the conditioner in the tube... not the same! I have been getting Redken PPT protein treatments and it helps a lot. I know you need a really good conditioner after (any recomendations) Is there a better way to apply this stuff? Pump foam i guess. I was thinking about trying Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner. Which do you prefer. Can i mix either conditioner with the protein treatment? Should i throw in the anti snap if I go to redken. I was using the leave in biolage. Please ADVISE... WEDDING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!! Getting foiled today!

while redken ppt is really good protein pack. It works best if heat is applied to open the cuticle of the hair. Biolage is probably a bit too lite for deep conditioning or moisturizing. you might try Joico products if you can find them. K-pak reconstructor for deep reconstructing, Daily moisturizing shampoo for every day shampooing( very moisturizing) and then a light leave on or rinse out conditioner, Altima conditioner for moisture repair. They have human hair protein in the products, so, they repair your hair with the proteins your hair is made up of.

Don't use Garnier (it dries it up your hair even more) nor Pantene because it's just plain crap. (contains silicone which just covers your hair with shine - doesn't take away all the dirt or protect your hair). I would suggest you buy a shampoo for 'Dry to Brittle Lifeless Hair" and condition it well. You might also want to invest in a Leave in conditioner and serum to control the frizz after you blow dry your hair. BTW...I would avoid shampoos & conditioners from supermarkets. Stick to salon based if you can afford. (Especially if you dye your hair)

Personally and in my opinion.....Redkin is at the bottom of my list.....I like the Matrix biolage is a terrific product...

My favorite is Joico, period......Kpack shampoo, conditioner and reconstructor once a week will amaze you....

You won't be disappointed.....Good luck

i've never used redken. but i really like biolage. i've had a few perms too and my hair was really fragile. i started using biolage cera repair, along with the shampoo, and my hair doesn't break anymore. also, it smells great. i would reccomend it.
