FOR A HAIR THAT'S KIND OF LONG?

2007-06-05 07:44:13 · 1 answers · asked by Anonymous

I'm asian, I have thick long hair, when it was shorter I can clip it into a bun. Now it's summer, and my hair is longer, the clips kept poping off - I would really like to keep my length. Is there any ways to keep my hair up?

I'm going to the hairdresser tomorrow and fancy a change from my layered mid-length style (check my Avatar for a fair idea of what it's like just now). My hair is very fine, very straight, mid brown (I can hide the grey ;)) and suits a layered style for extra volume coz of it's texture but I can't carry a fringe as I've a very strong cowlick in the middle section of my hairline (bummer :/). I'd like to go for a shorter look for a change, but my heavy-framed glasses mean that I'm restricted for choice :( I'm 41 but can carry a much younger look as everyone says I look 5-10 years younger (cool, eh :)) and I've a round face and fair complexion. Any suggestions on changing the style (but not my colour, I like it as it is) without going for a perm (doesn't suit my baby-fine hair) or excessive styling (too lazy for that stuff!), or links to hairstyle websites that deal with looks suitable for eyeglass wearers would be appreciated. I've got about 15 hrs to decide! Thanks :)

I got a perm on Friday evening. The perm didn't take. The salon said they'd make it right, but I don't want them touching my hair now. It's still a little curly underneath and I want to get rid of that part. Is it possible to put the solution on and comb it through? Would it completely burn my hair up?

and I have really long hair (passed my butt). I was just wondering if there were any really nice hair styles I could use from the swing era. Most of the stylers I find are usually for about shoulder length hair. I love the styles, can anyone help me find a style for my hair length?

I need to get a highlight, backcolor, and a cut. I am willing to go for something in between on price or even pay a little extra for someone good. I don't mind going anywhere in the surrounding area. Please, if you have any ideas or suggestions... let me know. Thanks.

I have long-ish hair (5 or 6 inches past my shoulders). Anyone have any pretty/stylish & easy hairstyles for me? I'm tired of wearing my hair all down or in a simple ponytail. :\

Thanks for your help! :]

No matter what I do, there will still be shadows of hairs after I shave. Sometimes, it starts bleeding, and I am too embarrassed to wear tank tops. I need to take care of this, and I would like to know if laser hair removal will be cheaper than waxing in the long run. I really really really need an answer. Thank you. :)
