The first thing you should do is trim it (maybe an inch or two), to make sure that it's healthy. Maybe trim your side-fringe about a quarter of an inch to half an inch.

Once your hair has been trimmed, you may do many things, such as:

* Out with a cute, thick headband.
* Ponytail (in the middle of your head) with one or two cute thin headbands.
* Half - up, Half - down, with a cute thin headband.
* Two plaits with cute hairties.

The possibilities are endless ...
All you need to do is experiment.

One of my favourite hairstyles is what i call the "Twisted ponytail".

Step 1 - Put hair in a ponytail (Preferably a high one, not too tight).
Step 2 - Where it's kind of loose, make a small hole, without taking the ponytail out.
Step 3 - Put the ponytail through the hole.
Step 4 - Tighten.

It takes practise to make it perfect.
You can also do it with pigtails.
Sorry if i didn't explain it properly.

Another hairstyle i like is as follows:

Step 1 - Plait wet hair (Sleep with it like that).
Step 2 - Take plaits out.
Step 3 - Gently "finger - comb" your hair.
Step 4 - Pin your side fringe back.
Step 5 - Leave hair out.

You can also do this with straight hair (You can curl the ends).

Things I like to do to make my hair more interesting:

* Waving (Your hair is already wavy, but this may make it wavier).
* Straightening OCCASIONALLY (Once every few months).
* Curling the ends of my hair (When it's out or in a ponytail).

You can do these things to "spice up" the basic hairstyles.

Remember to use:

* Cute headbands
* Cute clips
* Pretty hairties

These will make your hair more interesting.

Good Luck !
And remember that the possibilities are endless !

Your hair is way too long to put in a bun.

It must be GORGEOUS just loose! But of course you don't want to wear it that way all the time.

1) Topsy-tail it. Pull it back into a fairly low ponytail, then slide the elastic out about two inches from your scalp. Slide your index finger up along your scalp from the bottom (nape of your neck), so the you divide the hair that's between your scalp and the elastic into two sides, left and right. Then flip the long ponytail up, and pull it down through the space you've made, where your finger is. You're making a twist effect with the hair on your head, then after it passes through the elastic, it flows free.
it sounds complicated but it's super simple once you do it, and it's a very pretty look. The link below has pictures.

A French braid would be very pretty with hair that long and gorgeous. It's a little tricky to learn but worth the effort.

Make a braid starting at the back of your head, very low, then wrap the braid around your head like a headband. and pin it in place, for parties and fancy. You can braid ribbons and pretty small charms into it too.

You can also get creative with styles that are part loose, part braided, look at pictures in salon books and use your imagination.

You can also get someone to do tiny braids mixed in with the loose hair, and add beads or charms to the ends.

Have fun!

How about a high pony tail (is that dos not hurt your head of course)?
Maybe you could braid it, or just let it loose....
As for braiding, you could french-braid it, make two low braids, many mini braids.... the possibiblities are endless!!!
You can also just put the top half of it in a pony tail, or just experiment with colorful bandanas, head bands and mini jaw clips!
For special occasions, you can get one of those conair temporary hair tinters and make colorful highlights and just leave your hair down. Hope this helps :)

sry to tell you this...but u should really get it cut
there is rly nothing you can do with really long hair
believe me, i had really long hair like yours
just cut it
get layers where the longest ones hit the middle of your back
everyone looks cute with that length of hair, and isnt not so drastic that you regret the haircut later

cut it, and layer it. then you will be able to do sooo much more with it. Im not talking about cutting all of it, but maybe to your shoulders or to your armpit, then have it layered, you can manage it alot better/easier, and trust me, it will feel alot better in humid/hot weather!

cut it, if its long it is heavy and hard to keep a style other than a pony tail or braided...
