Hair - February 2007

She is 4 yrs old, bi-racial baby. Black/White. Her hair is always all over the place. Is it safe for me to use white hair products in her hair. I know nothing about african american hair or how to manage it. I just don't want to damage her hair. Can anyone help me.

im going to church in about an hour and i straighten my hair because it gets a tad bit frizzy so i straighten it and its raining outside. what can i do from elliminating my hair to frizz back up since the weather is like this....?

ok i posted before about having highlighted blonde hair which was too light and i want it back to my darker natural blonde.
anyway, i bought a dark blonde colour and put it on last nite but it looks HORRID it looks brown!! i didnt leave it on for 25 mins either, was about 15-20 mins!
ive read that tinted or highlighted hair reacts diff to colours than natural hair but i didnt know this!!
anway ive been washing it with washing up liquid and gonna get some vosene too. how long will it take to wash out? its gross! the box says it lasts 6 weeks. i hope its not that long!!
please help im goin away in april and want it nice for then.

p.s i dont mind paying for a hairdresser to fix it!

My hair is naturally very dark brown...however I have been getting chunky blonde high light strips in it for years now. I fancy going back to my roots and being my natural colour again.

I dont want to let it grow out as it would take years and years as my hair is very long (and dont want to get it cut other than trimmed). If I go to the salon and ask for my hair to be dyed back to its natural colour will it stay? As ive heard that sometimes when you dye over bleached hair after a few weeks it fades and looks slightly ginger.

Please let me know.

I have natural dark brown hair color, with blonde highlights, how long to wait to get them out again? This is the 2nd or3rd time getting them, they've been in for about 2 or 3 months. HELP!!!

When I first got this straightner the plates were all shinny and nice, they're ceramic, but now there are some dull spots on both plates, mediun sizes and there are some dark spots on the edges of these dull spots. It still works GREAT on my hair though, but will it cause damage in the future to my hair?

Keep in mind i got this thing in September and in is a Gold N Hot straightner if that helps at all.

okay i went to this really col party yesterday and it was in a big hall and there were ooo many people in there and it was very hot .... before going to the party i straightened my hair well because i have very curly hair,and when i exited the hall it was all frizzy !! and i absolutaly hate me curly hair .....got any tips...?

I saw a lady in the store that had a beautiful hair style. I asked her about it and she said she has a deep condition and a dubi (i know I spelled it wrong) wrap and stlye. What is a dubi wrap? I know it made her hair look like slik but I do not know what exactley what they do. I do not go to the salon very much but I am willing to go if they can make my hair look that silky! I know its nearly impossible without having to wait so long for hair to grow back. My real hair color is black and it is kind of blondish brown now but I miss my old color. I do not want to dye it again cuz it makes my hair so weak and unhealthy. do I just have to wait?

Greasy kids stuff for hair whas in a jar about 2" high and 3' wide it had a white lid. On the front of the jar it had a label with a kid who had a flat top( right hand cornor). This greasy kids stuff was green. I used this stuff in early 1960's. I do know that there is another product out there that's in a squeeze bottel with a white cream that's called greasy kids stuff. This is not what I remember. I just wanted to see if anybody else remembers this product. Thank you

just had hair cut short at back and longer at sides looks great quite choppy .i have quite fine hair and the ends look a bit fluffy when i dry it what product should i use to tame it?would like to avoid waxes coz of build up and tend to leave hair a bit stiff looking.
