When I first got this straightner the plates were all shinny and nice, they're ceramic, but now there are some dull spots on both plates, mediun sizes and there are some dark spots on the edges of these dull spots. It still works GREAT on my hair though, but will it cause damage in the future to my hair?
Keep in mind i got this thing in September and in is a Gold N Hot straightner if that helps at all.

Well, it works and it is not damaging your hair the way it is now, there is nothing to worry about. Contact the manufacturer and ask them what can be done.

well you could just use this stuff called ssuper straight then it wont damage you hair
